The heart of gratitude

Why don't you take a step back and look at your life now? Are you in a place full of complaints? Are you in a place full of sorrow and bitterness?..? I don't know; perhaps you are, perhaps you are not, perhaps you are but you don't realize. But today i urge you, just read this through and see whether you find it help you to see beyond your situation.

Just a question so that you can ponder on it. Have you ever wonder why people who went through tough times still can be very joyful..? Well, honestly? I did. Back than, i didn't understand why there are such people. People who still feel thankful even when they are in trouble. But than i realize, the heart of gratitude changes everything, changes the way i see my problems. 

- Gratitude unlock the fullness in life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It can turn a meal into a feast; a house into a home; a stranger into a friend.- 

Have you ever feel thankful about your life? The thought of feeling alive again and seeing your friends and family. I am thankful for life. I am thankful for my health for i am still healthy. I am thankful for my family because i can turn to them when during my hard times. I am thankful for my friends who care about me as much as my family do. 

-Everything in this life is a gift, whether it is bad or good because it teaches you to grow and mature.-

You might not understand why you need to go through what you are or was going through but be thankful that you are still alive, be thankful for the good things in life, don't take it for granted and be thankful that these problems will make you to be the person you want to be in the future. You might not want to be where you want to be now but thank God that you are not where you used to be.

-You can't change your situation but you can change your attitude to one who has gratitude to live your life again.-

Be thankful for who are you because i am sure no one wants to be anyone else. Stop thinking you are not good enough; you are good enough! Because you don't want to be someone who you are not. No one wants to be a copyright of someone else. Think about this-THERE IS ONLY ONE AND ONLY ONE YOU that is surviving in this world with more than a billion of people. Isn't it amazing? be thankful that is only one of you. Be thankful for who you are. 

-Thank you for everything; Thank you for every opportunity that you have; to be able to learn and grow mature instead of being where you are now.-

Be thankful that you have food on the table where some people can't even afford it. Be thankful that you have friends, brothers and sister who believe in you when the rest of the world mock at you. Thank you for your education... and...(you think about it) Have you ever wonder there are actually a lot of things to be thankful about? Back than, i didn't know but now i do. 

- Accept the things that you can't change; have the courage to change the things that you can.-

Be thankful for every relationship because God has given you the opportunity to love someone like how he had love them. There are many things in life which we will not understand why it is happening but again, we can change our attitude to one that have gratitude. Be thankful that there are people who still lifted you up and comfort you when you are down.

-True success is not what you achieve but being faithful to your value and conviction.-

Wow! Isn't the song nice? what about the lyrics? Honestly, it is not only the lyrics that touches me but his story. He portrayed what real love means; not how the Hollywood portrayed it; not how the media and the radio station portrayed it. That is the real meaning of it. Love is beyond appearance, Love is not self-centered but selfless. The promise he told that girl, is real, not just to make her happy, or not just to make her to satisfy his needs. He meant it with all his heart when he says it.

Tell me how many guys will be like that?! Honestly, besides Jesus, i don't see anyone in my generation or even in this generation is like that. Perhaps, perhaps, there are guys like that out there BUT are limited. Too little to be count, too little to say, yes, they are guys like that. Not easy to find someone that really love you beyond their own condition. A selfless love. That was what Jesus had did for us and yet many rejected Him but he still did it for us. :))

Indeed it is a lesson and a reminder for me, i don't know about you.. But for me, i take it as a lesson. For me, as a Christian; If someone like him can love beyond his condition, can be so selfless, what more about me?! What more as Christian, we are commanded to share out God's love? That i leave it up to you to think for yourself. It is a principle, the truth of love. Love is not what the world portrayed now. :))

what makes you think it won't happen to you?

Back than, i remember, my friend was telling me that she spend her entire holiday in Japan, one of the beautiful country in the world. She was going on about the places she visited and what a wonderful experiences it was for her. She wish she can go back there again and ask me to join her the next time. I guess she wasn't the only one who thinks that she can go back there again. Everyone, include me thinks that we are all secure here. safe and sound and that nothing, nothing can happen. 

The news that come in a sudden shakes up my world of comfort, secure and safe. Are you feeling the same as me? I don't know. but it is when i realize, what makes me think that it won't happen here, where i live? Japan, was a beautiful country. That morning, they woke up, just like all of us, hoping to go through a good and exciting day. Ready to face the challenge coming ahead of them. Some ready to take the commitment into marriage, some ready to give birth... Little did they know, such tragic will come upon them. Little did they know, someone they love will be gone in a second..

Yesterday during news time, the tv put on a video, i saw a few people being crush by the building while other people outside was trying to pull them out. They scream, they cry, they break down and no one can take their pain. The building crush them and the rescue team couldn't do anything. The phrase- couldn't do anything shakes my world. How true it was, we, as humans, always thought that there is another day for me, for her, for him. How ignorance we are to the reality. It is just because reality hurts. Because reality hurts, that is why we must learn to grab hold of every minute, every breath and every second in life. 

Live like it was your last day. Live like there is no tomorrow. Treasure every moment with your loved one. I pray that this, will be a lesson for you and I. This will be the day that we will start loving people around us. Start living every moment like it was the last breath you breathe in. God bless! 

Selfishness that leads to brokenness

Life, as you call it, is just not about living for yourself.

Why are people so selfish these days? Always thinking only about what you want and what you need! Why cant you think about other people? Is it so hard to even start to think and love others like how u love yourself? Treat others like how you would want to be treated?

There is a person which i know that is only, and always thinking about himself. Always blaming on other people for their mistakes and never even check himself! Always giving comments that will hurt people and never think that he is not mature. Always giving comments and saying that he knows a lot about love, relationships and etc. but when things happen, he is the first that dont know what it is all about. Only knows how to go round hurting people that cares for him.

The answer is just simple, ALL THAT MATTERS to him was HIM and HIM ALONE! life to him, is just making himself feel better and neglect about other people. Didnt even bother apologizing when he knows that he make a mistakes. Does it sound similar to you? Have you got any friends like that? THE WORLD AND LIFE IS JUST NOT ABOUT LIVING FOR YOURSELF! *this thought always comes into my mind and i wish i can just tell it off to them* well, some i did. some i did not. why didnt i? simple, cos they already choose to care for themselves more. 

Please learn to take a look around your surroundings. See for yourself the people you're hurting. Nice to see people getting hurt? i guess what goes around comes around. It will somehow happen to you again one day. Learn to appreciate things around you. All that matters is just not only yourself!

If only it was you..

Just the thinking of people hurting those Innocent animal made me shed tears. There was a video about a lady killing a few rabbits. She just step on the rabbit... Sometimes i wonder, why are these people like that. Seeing her hurting those rabbits really break my heart to pieces. She doesn't even feel remorse. My heart goes out to these rabbits and as well as the lady. It just make me think that, she is seeking for popularity. Perhaps she think that just by being an animal abuser will made her famous? Perhaps..Perhaps? A million perhaps running through my mind.. 

Sometimes, people can just be so emotionless that we don't feel anything anymore. Sometimes things can happen and yet we no longer feel remorse or having a heart of compassion. The reality hurts, hurts more than anyone can bear. No matter how much we don't want to face it, there are some people out there who are just sick; so sick; so sick till you just don't know what is in their mind.  

Sometimes even seeing those people crying out for help, we just choose to ignore it. We just choose to 'stay out of out business'. It is none of our business, so why than get involved? If it's your mentality now, pls stop having those mentality. Sometimes just by you lending out your hand, you safe a life. You safe a life from being thrown into hell; you safe an innocent life from being miserable. The wound that is in their heart will always be with them, throughout their life. They suffer, they cry in pain; a pain where you can't imagine. A darkness in front of their eyes. The world in front of them is so dark, so shallow and all they could think of is..ending it.

Where is the heart of the people these days? I always ask myself. Somehow, i know i can never find an answer to it but i know, i can make a difference just by listening and lending out my hand. I truly, encourage each and everyone of you to starting having a heart of compassion towards the little things that happen in your life. Sometimes, you might not know you just safe a life! 

If only it was you.. You will know how hard it is to face tomorrow. Don't let it rob the happiness of your loved one. Do something! 

just when you think it's right

Does it ever occur to you that just when you think it's right, it's actually not right?

Does it ever occur to you that just when you think it's right, it's actually  an excuse?

Many time, we think that it feels so right. how can it be wrong? When the things that feel so right, how can it be wrong? Than, you are wrong. Something that can feel very right can be very wrong from the start, but just because you don't see it, feel it; or you just simply want to make an excuse not to face the fact. People always ask, do you believe in True love? My answer is always, WHY NOT? But true love WAITS.

Why aren't people believing in love these days? It's just simply because they did not learn to love themselves yet, and they rush into loving someone; wanting that person to love them back. And usually it's both parties that will feel the same way. Tell me than, both also want to take love from each other, who is gonna give love? No one, and end up, both getting hurt, wounded badly by love, and blame it on LOVE itself. Love does not have the power. It is the people itself that has the power, but why don't people see it? Love is a feeling we feel everyday, we can't deny the fact. But we can manage it and handle it well. 

Many times people will tell you, love is equal to sex; and sex is equal to love. Have some sense, people. Ladies, wake up! Stop living in the wonderland, stop believing in what is NOT TRUE.  Who tells you that, if you really love that guy, you MUST sleep with him? Th guy himself? The movie you watch? or.. how the world portray love? The point is, if the guy really love you, he will not even dare to put his hand on you for he will RESPECT you. A love who truly love you will not need your body to feel love. The guy will know that, you really love him just by looking at him through your eyes. Love is something, we can feel it. we're all sensitive to it. So, tell me, does it make any differences if he ask you to sleep with him? Sometime, you might think it's alright, but you know deep inside you; you're hurting, you just wanna run away. why than, make yourself so miserable? You only have one chance, in a physically form, once you lose your virginity, you lose it. If only you could hear those girls that have gone through the pain. If only they will come out and testify and tell their pain. 

I've so many friends who will call and cry to me over the phone. At that point, i wish i could take their pain away; at time point, i wish i could help them out but.. i know i couldn't. They suffer, they condemn themselves, they.. A thousand thoughts come to them. Guys, have you ever wonder what if it happen to you? i simply just don't understand why do you want to do this to someone you love? dont't you realize you're hurting the girl? Think about it for a moment, what if it's your own daughter? Will you allow some random guy to do that to your OWN daughter? Why than so selfish? It's not your body, you don't have the right to demand it. 

So, ladies and Gentleman, made a very wise decision. Ladies, stop believing in the lies of the world. The world has twisted so many things. It is a grey world but don't live with it. You are only living in a grey world but you don't need to live in it. Get out from it. Stop living in pain. Guys who tell you sex is equals to love, slap them on their face and walk away. You will find a better one, trust me. All you need is God's love. God's love is the only thing that can feel that empty heart of yours. Gentleman, respect the ladies. Little will you know, by your 'doing', you're actually hurting the girl, u say you love? How irony. *shaking my head* 

Be strong and very courages. stand up for what you believe in, ladies. You have a choice. Make the right choices in life and you will not regret. If you already had make a wrong decision, don't dwell in it. Don't live in your past, is time to move on. :) xoxo!

hehe. am just being random about it. thought of just having some random words for my starting. hehe. Valentine is next monday. i can feel the love is in the air now. have u ever wonder what love means? Lets check out together what love means. *wink*

Love is Patient, Love is kind;

It is not rude and self seeking for pleasure;

It does not keep the records of your wrong doings;

Love rejoices in the truth and not delight in evil;

It always protects, trust, hopes, and perseveres. 

Love is not something which can be fade away or wash away easily. It is not something we can compromise in. See for yourself whether are u ready to be in a relationship, if you had not have one? And ask yourself, are u treating your partner with respect and learning the value of love at the time, if you already are in a relationship?
